Operation principle

    The major principle that the "Bioregulator" is based upon is a volumetric pneumatic pressing (pneumopressing). The term and name of the device have the copyright granted by the Ukrainian Intellectual Property Committee. A volumetric pneumopressing is a systemic means of treatment based on hemodynamics (blood movement). It acts on the blood and lymph system at the vein and capillary level. This method may be called capillarotherapy. The device "Bioregulator" which uses this method makes it possible to accelerate the microcirculation of blood, lymph, intercellular lymph, which contributes to improving hemodynamics and flow properties of blood, metabolism and trophism of tissue, developing collateral circulation, enhancing cell regeneration, accelerating regenerative processes in cells and tissue.

Method background

    This method is new to Ukraine and the countries of the former Soviet Union. However, it is well-known in European countries and Japan where it is used in different devices having different names.

The Germans call this method "volumetric pneumomassage or syncardiac massage" (i.e. synchronized with cardiorhythm), and the device is called "Lymphomat". This method has been used in Germany since 1913.

In France and Italy, this method is called press-therapy and in Great Britain - kinesitherapy.

In Japan, it is called "Pulsotronik". In other words, this method used in all the countries acts on the body mechanically, by means of air in the pressure mode, synchronously with the pulse.

Analogs

   What is the difference between the apparatus "Bioregulator" and the analogs available in the world? Why have 14 patents been granted for it? The difference between the apparatus "Bioregulator" and the devices of similar kind is shown in the table based on an example of "Lymphomat":

    The devices of this kind available in the world generate a massage wave in one direction: "Lymphomat" - from the periphery to the center; "Pulsotronik" - from the center to the periphery. That greatly limits their functional capacity. Unlike them, "Bioregulator" can spread a massage wave in any direction. This makes it possible to apply it to more than 200 diseases. The devices of this kind available in the world operate either in the pressure mode or in the vacuum mode.

   The device "Bioregulator" has been recorded in the Ukrainian State Register for New Medical Technology under #219/95. It is allowed to be manufactured and applied in medical practice. This device is of systemic
effect having bioenergy and informotherapeutic elements.

"Bioregulator" can operate in both pressure and vacuum modes. Moreover, it can operate simultaneously in both modes during one cycle. That makes it useful in oncology, for example, when some drug is directed to the problem organ in the pressure mode of a "traveling wave" and then held over there in the vacuum mode (by means of a suction cup) preventing the chemical drug from being spread all over the body. A simultaneous action of pressure and vacuum may be used in cosmetic treatment using pressure to treat cellulitis and vacuum to rejuvenate face skin. None of the devices available in the world can be used to treat trophic ulcer without pain. While working with "Bioregulator", it is possible to switch off a certain number of sections setting up a program for a programmer without changing the rhythm of a procedure which remains synchronized with the pulse. The mechanism of the effect of the "Bioregulator" is simple. A multisection pneumatic cuff is put on any part of the body which transmits an air wave sent by a doctor with the help of a set program. Since this part of the body is fully covered with a pneumatic cuff, the wave is targeted at not only skin, but also nerve endings and capillaries. Programs are tailored to each individual because each person is unique. The device has been presented many times at international exhibitions held in Dusseldorf (1994, 1996) and Republican medical exhibitions. It is invariably popular with the medical profession.
