Connection with the research
institutes
The ITO closely cooperates with the research medical
institutes: the Microvascular and Experimental Surgery Research
Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Medicine in the area of "Creating
technologies of therapeutic treatment, prevention and rehabilitation
of patients with limb vascular diseases with the help of a therapeutic
apparatus "Bioregulator"; the Neurology and Psychiatry Research
Institute of the Ukrainian Academy of Medicine doing research into
such neurological diseases as disseminated encephalomyelitis, spastic
paraparesis, withdrawal syndrome, dyscirculatory encephalopathy,
hypertension diseases, arterial sclerosis, transient violations
of cerebral circulation etc.; the Ukrainian Nephrology and Urology
Research Institute doing research into possibilities to treat patients
having renal failure, low potency etc.
In 1999, the ITO's research concerning the adaptation of a human
being to extreme conditions was approved by the Ministry of Education
and Science of Ukraine. Research is being done at the Antarctic
station "Academician Vernadsky" and on the Antarctic peninsula in
accordance with the July 9, 1997 Charter on a special cooperation
between Ukraine and the NATO. Initial data which have been obtained
confirm a theoretical assumption that it is possible to protect
a human body from some natural and artificial cataclysms with the
help of the device "Bioregulator".
It is scheduled to do research together with the Oncology Institute
in the area of "Creating technology of conservative treatment of
lymphatic edema of limbs during a post-operative period with the
help of a therapeutic apparatus "Bioregulator". It is also planned
to do research into the impact of artificial gravitation on reducing
the atrophy of muscles and vessels.
